Hey I'm Alison!
I am a Senior at Longwood University majoring in Communication Studies with a concentration in Organizational Communications and Public Relations. I have always been extremely sporty, but losing weight was something I have always struggled with. I played three sports in high school and was constantly watching what I ate. It wasn’t until last July that I really started cracking down and learning what the perfect workout and calorie intake for my body type was. I work out 7 days a week with 45 minutes of cardio interval training and a round of weight lifting and toning after.
My goal was to become a size 8 in woman’s jeans. I did not realize that that would mean losing over 75 pounds. I have currently lost 95 pounds since July, 2014. I work out and eat extremely healthy. I eat only protein and vegetable every three hours. I use protein supplements and a lot of vitamins to keep my body healthy. I have surpassed my goal and I am not a size 4/6.
I take a lot of in house work outs from Pinterest and make it fun while watching TV or listening to music. It keeps me busy while there are commercial breaks, I am getting in the toning portion of my workouts and I am being productive.
